We believe there are 2 aspects to "green" products: how a product is manufactured and how that product performs for our customers. The bottom line is reducing the amount of carbon we emit in our business and in our private lives. By forming our pans, hard coat anodizing and the application of coatings all in one location we save energy by not having to transport products to different locations for each process. We literally have raw products come into our plant and ship final products out to customers.

Green Manufacturing Initiatives:

• Complete manufacturing of products done in one location saves transportation costs and energy.
• Recycle or re-use everything from excess raw materials to incoming packing materials.
• Reduced anodizing water consumption and wastewater generation from 2,000 gallons per day to about 300 gallons through in-house wastewater treatment line.
• Send alum derived from anodizing to the city of Spokane’s wastewater treatment plant, which city officials say helps the settling process in the treatment plant’s clarifiers.
• More than 60 percent of electricity is derived from renewable hydro and wind power with the balance coming from natural gas.
• Water based coatings on pans use no PTFE or any other petrochemicals, have no toxic waste and are completly inert.

We are demonstrating that a comprehensive, pro-active approach to responsible manufacturing is possible.

Tough Field-Tested Pans

ManPans are formed using a proprietary process and exceptional grade metals, resistant to warping, denting and scratching even under the toughest conditions. We are confident that our pans are the most durable products available, proven by restaurant kitchens across the US.

Type III Anodizing

This in-house process fuses a ceramic-like hard shell directly into our bake ware, producing a surface that meets NASA specifications for heat shield components on the space shuttle.

Eco-Friendly Release Coating

Years in development, our proprietary water-based, release coating outperforms and outlasts any other cookware finish with little or no special seasoning or handling, at temperatures up to 700 degrees Fahrenheit. Highly durable and long lasting, the metal utensil safe surface will last for many years even with heavy use.
Our products are 100% PTFE free and free from any fluoropolymer coatings.

• Coating will not scratch, flake or come off in your food
